A little bit about me:
In the business world, I have served as CPA, CFO, GM, and CEO in diverse industries. While that sounds impressive, the funnest part of those jobs was riding horses. In higher education, I have served as University President, Vice President, Dean, and Faculty member. I have a BA in Accounting and Spanish (Puedo contar en español) from Grove City College in Pennsylvania, an MBA from Penn State (Go Big Blue), and a Ph.D. in International Economics from Kent State University in Ohio. h.
I live in Ottawa, KS with my wife, Gloria, my dog, Riley, and my wife’s cat, Mr. Peepers, who thinks I am a reincarnation of all things evil. Gloria and I have a son, Brad, 23, and a daughter, Lacie, 21.
I essentially live in two worlds, one that is very professional, and the other that serves my mischievous alter ego. I like to play basketball, golf, racquetball, and bubble breaker on my cell phone.
I love chicken and biscuits and chocolate chip cookies. Neither is good for my figure.
Topics on this blog will range from international diplomacy, to really stupid things I hear and see on airplanes, to philosophical musings.
