Human beings have an inalienable right to invent themselves… Germaine Greer, O Magazine, September 2002

Support is creating an underlining foundation which adds strength upon which to build.  The ability to withstand pressure and stress depends upon the reliability and quality of the support system on every level of the structure.

When renovating one must look at the existing structure and create a picture (dream) of the potential of the structure.  At this point there are no limitations.  If we were guaranteed success, what would we attempt?  At the beginning of something there has to be nothing. We have to give ourselves a clean slate—and permission to dream.

Go back to the existing structure and examine the materials which are supporting it.  The question we must ask ourselves is do we have faith that those materials will offer us real support and withstand the pressure and stress of time.  Is this a structure that we can pass on to our grandchildren?

At this point one must make the decision of real or artificial…natural or man-made…wood or chips and glue…stone or plastic…integrity or fast cash…lasting support or instant gratification?   Are you building a pretty temporary plastic shell and expecting it to endure more than a season of extreme conditions.

The same principal works with the structure of life.  Each of us will begin the renovation with an existing structure.  Much of the structure was inherited from our family and we have added on with the influences of the world in which we come in contact.

We all have support either positive or negative in our lives.  Real natural support helps us achieve our dreams or plastic artificial support collapses under the pressure of life.

The mission of the Living Well Support Group is to create a solid base of real natural information and building materials with which to build a life which can be passed on to our grandchildren.

Living Well supports environmental sustainability through clean food, clean water and clean air.  Living Well supports social justice through elimination of classism and real clean food, water and air for all.  Living Well supports spiritual fulfillment and the right of each individual to take personal responsibility for the structure of their lives.

Living Well supports businesses that increase the quality of our lives such as local vendors who produce products and services which promote a wellness lifestyle.

The Living Well Lifestyle supports itself financially when we let go and remove the artificial substances that destroy our health and our home.  It costs less to live a healthy lifestyle than to live a toxic lifestyle.
